تدويل الكليات التطبيقية في المملكة العربية السعودية: المتطلبات والاتجاهات الحديثة

Internationalization of Applied Colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Requirements and Recent Trends

هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على أهم المتطلبات لتدويل الكليات التطبيقية السعودية (كليات المجتمع سابقاً)، وأنسب الاتجاهات الحديثة لتحقيق هذا التدويل. وبتطبيق المنهج الوصفي المسحي، كانت العينة العشوائية للدراسة (631) عضو هيئة تدريس في ثلاث جامعات هي: جامعة الملك سعود، وجامعة الملك عبد العزيز، وجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن الفيصل. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم إعداد استبانة لتمثيل أهمية محوري الدراسة: المتطلبات والاتجاهات. وبعد خطوات التنقيح: الصدق الداخلي، واتساق الإستبيان، والتحليل العاملي، والثبات الداخلي معامل اتش (Coefficient H)، خلص الإستبيان إلى (11) متطلبًا، و(10) اتجاهات حديثة للتدويل. وبعد مقارنة المتوسطات والإنحرافات المعيارية لتقييم العبارات، خلصت الدراسة الى أن أهم المتطلبات هو الدعم المالي، وحضور المؤتمرات الدولية، والتطوير المهني. بينما أهم الاتجاهات لتدويل هذه الكليات هي اتفاقات التوأمة مع الشركات الرائدة، وموائمة الخريجين لمتطلبات سوق العمل. لا يرى المجيبون أهمية متطلب إعداد الخريج للمنافسة دوليًّا، وتقديم برامج التدريب الميداني المهني للطلاب في الخارج. وكذلك، لا يرون أهمية ما يوازيها من اتجاهات للتدويل مثل التبادل الطلابي للكليات التطبيقية مع نظيراتها العالمية، وتطبيق نظم التعليم الإلكتروني وبناء فضاء عالمي. وأوصت الدراسة بأهمية الاختيار والتطويرهم المهني لأعضاء الكليات التطبيقية، والاهتمام بجودة التنظيم الإداري، والاتجاه نحو الشراكات والخصخصة.


The study aimed to identify the most important requirements for the internationalization of Saudi Applied Colleges (Previously known as Community Colleges), and the most appropriate recent trends to achieve this internationalization. By adopting the descriptive survey method, the random sample was (631) faculty members from three universities: King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, and Imam Abdulrahman Al-Faisal University. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was prepared to represent the importance of the requirements and trends. After the verification steps: internal validity, consistency of the questionnaire, factor analysis, and internal stability (Coefficient H), the questionnaire concluded with (11) requirements, and (10) recent trends for internationalization. Through comparing means and standard deviations to evaluate the statements, the study concluded that the most important requirements are financial support, attending international conferences, and professional development. While the most important trends for the internationalization of these colleges are twinning agreements with leading companies and adapting graduates to the requirements of the labor market. Respondents do not see the importance of preparing the graduate for the international competition and providing vocational field training programs for students abroad. Likewise, they do not see the importance of the corresponding trends of internationalization, such as student exchange of applied colleges with their international counterparts, the application of e-learning systems, and the building of a global space. The study recommended the importance of selection and the professional development of Applied Colleges' members, attention to the quality of administrative organization, and the trend towards partnerships and privatization.
