جودة الحياة الاجتماعية وعلاقتها بتقدير الذات لدى التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية

Quality of Social Life and its Relationship to Self-esteem among Students with Intellectual Disabilities

هدف البحث إلى التعرُّف على جودة الحياة الاجتماعية وعلاقتها بتقدير الذات لدى ‏التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية. اتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكوّنت عينة ‏البحث من (88) تلميذًا من التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية البسيطة والمتوسطة والشديدة، شمل (53) أنثى و (39) ذكرًا بمرحلة المراهقة في منطقة ‏الجوف، واستخدم البحث مقياس جودة الحياة الاجتماعية للتلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة ‏الفكرية، ومقياس تقدير الذات للتلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى ‏جودة الحياة الاجتماعية متوسط لدى التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، وأن مستوى تقدير ‏الذات لدى التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية منخفض، واتضح وجود علاقـة ارتباطية بين ‏جودة الحياة الاجتماعية وتقدير الذات لدى التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية، وأظهرت ‏النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في أبعاد جودة الحياة الاجتماعية: الرفاهية ‏الاجتماعية، العلاقات الاجتماعية، الوصول الشامل إلى الأماكن المجتمعية، التمكين ‏الاجتماعي، تعود لاختلاف متغيرات: (الجنس، العمر الزمني، درجة الإعاقة الفكرية)، كما تبيَّن وجود فروق ‏ذات دلالة إحصائية في أبعاد جودة الحياة الاجتماعية: الرفاهية الاجتماعية، التمكين ‏الاجتماعي، تعود لاختلاف متغير: (درجة الإعاقة الفكرية)، وكذلك وجود فروق ذات ‏دلالة إحصائية في بُعدَي: العلاقات الاجتماعية، الوصول الشامل إلى الأماكن المجتمعية ‏باختلاف متغير (درجة الإعاقة الفكرية).‏

The research aimed to identify the quality of social life and its relationship to self-esteem among students with intellectual disabilities. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach. The research sample consisted of (88) adolescent students with mild, moderate and severe intellectual disabilities from Al Jouf region, including (53) females and (39) males. The research used the Quality of Social Life Scale for Students with Intellectual Disabilities and the Self-Esteem Scale for Students with Intellectual Disabilities. The findings showed that the level of the quality of social life is average among students with intellectual disabilities and that the level of self-esteem among students with intellectual disabilities is low. There was a correlation between the quality of social life and self-esteem among students with intellectual disabilities. The findings also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the dimensions of quality of social life: social well-being, social relations, universal access to community places, and social empowerment, due to the difference in the variables (sex, age, and degree of intellectual disability). It was also revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the dimensions of quality of social life (social well-being and social empowerment) due to the difference in the variable of (intellectual disability degree). In addition, there were statistically significant differences in the dimensions of social relations and universal access to community place with the difference in the variable of (the degree of intellectual disability).
