الإسهام النسبي للذكاء الثقافي في التنبؤ بالتشوهات المعرفية لدى الطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين دوليا

The Relative Contribution of Culture Intelligence in Predicting Cognitive Distortions Belong of Saudi International Students

هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد مستوى كلٍّ من الذكاء الثقافي والتشوهات المعرفية، ومعرفه العلاقة بين الذكاء الثقافي والتشوهات المعرفية، والكشف عن الفروق في مستوى الذكاء الثقافي والتشوهات المعرفية بين الطلبة السعوديين من المغتربين المبتعثين دوليًّا وفقًا لمتغيرات (الجنس- التخصص العلمي- المستوى الدراسي)، وأيضا تحديد درجة الإسهام النسبي للذكاء الثقافي في التنبؤ بالتشوهات المعرفية لدى الطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين دوليًّا، وطبقت الدراسة أسلوب العينة العشوائية الطبقية، بلغ إجمالي العينة (250) من الطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين دوليًّا بعدة دول مختلفة بجميع المراحل الدراسية (بكالوريوس، ماجستير، دكتوراه) واستخدمت الدراسة مقياس الذكاء الثقافي إعداد Ang et al, (2007)، ومقياس التشوهات المعرفية CDS- The Cognitive Distortions Scale لـــ Briere (2000) وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الذكاء الثقافي لدى الطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين دوليًّا كان مرتفعاً، في حين كان مستوى التشوهات المعرفية لدى الطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين دوليا منخفضاً، كما توصلت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية عكسية دالة إحصائيًّا عند مستوى الدلالة 0.01 بين التشوه المعرفي بأبعاده الخمسة، والذكاء الثقافي بأبعاده الأربعة، بينما كشفت النتائج عن عدم وجود فروق دالة على مقياس الذكاء الثقافي ومقياس التشوهات المعرفية تبعاً لاختلاف الجنس والتخصص العلمي والمستوى الدراسي لدى الطلبة السعوديين المبتعثين دوليًّا، كما تشير النتائج إلى إمكانية الإسهام النسبي للذكاء الثقافي في التنبؤ بالتشوهات المعرفية وأن الذكاء الثقافي يفسر ما نسبته 16%من التباين في مستوى التشوه المعرفي.

The study aimed to determine the level of both cultural intelligence and cognitive distortions, and to know the relationship between cultural intelligence and cognitive distortions, and to detect differences in the level of cultural intelligence and cognitive distortions among Saudi expatriate students on international scholarships: according to the following the variables (gender-majors-GPA). Also, to determine the degree of relative contributions of Culture Intelligence and Cognitive Distortions to students. The study sample was chosen randomly, totally 250 Saudi International Students in (Bachelor-Master-PhD). The study used two measurements first Culture Intelligence Scale by Ang et al, (2007) and the Cognitive Distortions Scale by Briere (2000). The results showed that the Saudi International Students level of Culture Intelligence was high, and the level of cognitive distortions to students was low. As Important result of this study, there is inverse relationship significant in 0.01in both Culture Intelligence and Cognitive Distortions. In the other hand, results of study describe there are no differences between measurements of the study belong to studies variables of students (gender-majors-GPA). As a final result, the study indicates the possibility to predict of Cognitive Distortions, and the Culture Intelligence explain 16% of the variance in level of cognitive distortions. 0.01in both 0.01in both 0.01in both 0.01in both 0.01in both 0.01in both 0.01in both
