Recent literature indicates that menopausal depression is a unique subtype of depression, with distinct symptoms, etiology, and course that differ from other depression subtypes. The main objective of the current study is to identify the significance of the validity and reliability of the Arabic version of the menopausal depression scale prepared by Kulkarni et al. (2018) The data showed validity and reliability based on the performance of a sample of middle-aged women (n = 169). Generally accepted consistency and stability coefficients, by calculating the corrected correlation coefficients and Cronbach's alpha. In parallel, the study presented important indications of convergent validity using spoken scales, and Confirmatory factor analysis of the scale expressions provided support for validity by revealing a five-dimensional factor structure.
