مستوى وعي طالبات كلية العلوم والدراسات الإنسانية في ضرماء بمفهوم الثقافة البصرية ورموزها المستخدمة في التعليم ودرجة تحقيقهن لمعايير كفاءتها

The Level of the College of Science and Humanities in Durma Female Students’ Awareness of the Concept of Visual Culture, its Symbols Used in Education, and the Degree of Achievement of its Standards of Competence by them

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد مستوى وعي طالبات كلية العلوم والدراسات الإنسانية في ضرماء بمفهوم الثقافة البصرية ورموزها المستخدمة في التعليم، ودرجة تحقيقهن لمعايير كفاءتها، والتعرف على تأثير متغيري (تخصص الطالبة/ عدد سنوات الدراسة الجامعية) في مستوى الوعي بمفهوم الثقافة البصرية، ورموزها المستخدمة في التعليم، وكذلك التعرف على تأثير متغيري (تخصص الطالبة/ عدد سنوات الدراسة الجامعية) في درجة تحقيق بعض معايير كفاءة الثقافة البصرية، وتحقيقاً لأهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وتم اختيار عينة مكونة من (120) طالبة، وأعدت الباحثة أداتين: اختبار الوعي بمفهوم الثقافة البصرية ورموزها المستخدمة في التعليم، واختبار مهاري في ضوء معايير مختارة للجمعية الدولية للثقافة البصرية. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى وعي الطالبات بمفهوم الثقافة البصرية منخفض جداً، ومستوى الوعي بأبرز الرموز البصرية المستخدمة في التعليم منخفض جداً، ودرجة تحقيقهن بعض معايير كفاءة الثقافة البصرية منخفضة جداً، ويوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في مستوى الوعي بمفهوم الثقافة البصرية، وفي مستوى الوعي بأبرز الرموز البصرية المستخدمة في التعليم، وفي درجة تحقيق بعض معايير كفاءة الثقافة البصرية، يُعزى لمتغير تخصص الطالبة، لصالح من تخصصهن حاسب آلي، ولا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في مستوى وعي الطالبات بمفهوم الثقافة البصرية، وفي درجة تحقيقهن لمعايير كفاءة الثقافة البصرية يعزى لمتغير عدد سنوات الدراسة، ويوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية في مستوى الوعي بأبرز الرموز البصرية المستخدمة في التعليم يعزى لمتغير عدد سنوات الدراسة، لصالح من كانت سنوات دراستهن " أقل من سنة". وأوصت الدراسة بدعوة أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات للتدريس باستخدام الصور، والخرائط الذهنية، والتدوين البصري.

The study aims at determining the level of College of Science and Humanities in Durma female students’ awareness of the Visual literacy concept, its symbols used in education, the degree of achievement of its standards of competence by them and recognize the impact of variables of (female student specialization/number of university study years) in the awareness level of Visual literacy concept and its symbols used in education. Also, in the achievement degree of some of visual literacy competence standards. To achieve the study objectives, the survey descriptive approach is used and a sample consisting of (120) female students. The researcher prepared two tools: A test of awareness of the Visual literacy concept and its symbols used in education, and a skill test according to selected standards of the International Visual literacy Association.The study results revealed that the level of female students' awareness of the Visual literacy concept is very low, and the degree of achievement of some standards of Visual literacy competence by them is very low. There is a statistically significant difference in the level of female students’ awareness of the Visual literacy concept, and the degree of achievement of some standards of Visual literacy competence by them is attributed to the variable of female student specialization for the female students with a Computer specialization. The study recommended that the academic staff in universities are called to teach using images, mind maps, and Sketch noting.
