هدفت الدّراسة إلى التعرّف إلى توجّهات رسائل الدكتوراة في قسم أصول التربية بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلاميّة خلال الفترة من 1411 إلى 1439هـ، والكشف عن أهداف الأولويات البحثيّة، والتوصّل إلى الأولويّات البحثيّة المقترحة، من قبل أعضاء هيئة التدريس.

وتمثّل مجتمع الدّراسة في فئتين، الفئة الأولى: رسائل الدكتوراة والبالغ عددها (92) رسالة جامعيّة، وطُبّقت أداة الدّراسة (بطاقة تحليل المحتوى) على كامل مجتمع الدّراسة، والفئة الثانية: جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في قسم أصول التربية بجامعة الإمام والبالغ عددهم (35) مفردة خلال فترة إجراء الدّراسة خلال الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الجامعي 1439/1440هـ، ولمحدودية أعضاء هيئة التدريس طُبّقت أداة الدّراسة (الاستبانة) على كامل مجتمع الدّراسة، وبعد التطبيق حُصِلَ على (30) استجابة صالحة للتحليل الإحصائي.

واتّبعت الدّراسة منهج تحليل المحتوى والمنهج المسحي، وتوصلت الدّراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أبرزها:

- أنّه في صدارة قائمة أصول التربية في القسم، الأصول التعليميّة بنسبة (40%).

- أنّ توجّهات محتويات رسائل الدكتوراة في القسم، تناولت جميع توجّهات أصول التّربية وموضوعاتها عمومًا، وإن كان هناك تفاوت في تناول هذه التوجّهات.

- أنّ أبرز أهداف الأولويات البحثيّة المقترحة في قسم أصول التربية، تتمثّل في توجيه انتباه الباحثين إلى المشكلات التربويّة الواقعيّة في الوقت المعاصر.

- أنّ أبرز الأولويات البحثية المقترحة من منظور أعضاء هيئة التدريس، تمثّلت في: بُعد )الأصول التقنيّة)، يليه بُعد (الأصول الاقتصاديّة)، يليه بُعد (الأصول الفلسفيّة)، يليه بُعد (الأصول التعليميّة)، يليه بُعد (الأصول الأخلاقيّة)، يليه بُعد (الأصول الثقافية)، وأخيرًا جاء بُعد (الأصول الاجتماعيّة).

The study aims to identify the Objectives of PhDs in the Principles of Education Department at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University from 1990 to 2017, reveal the objectives of the research priorities, and to reach the proposed research priorities by the faculty members.

The study community is divided into two categories. The first category consists of (92) PhDs, and the study method (content analysis card) is applied to the entire study community. The second category consists of all the faculty members in the Principles of Education Department at the Imam University, whose number is (35) members, during the study period throughout the second semester of the academic year 2017/ 2018. Because of the limited number of the faculty members, the study method (questionnaire) is applied to the entire study community. After the application, about (30) valid responses to the statistical analysis are obtained.

The study used the content analysis and the questionnaire methodology. The study reached to many results and the most notably are:

- Educational Principles are at the top of Principles of Education list in the department with a percentage of (40%).

- The Objectives of the contents of PhDs in the department discussed all the objectives of Principles of educations and its topics in general, although there is a disparity in dealing with these Objectives.

- The most prominent objectives of the proposed research priorities in the Department of Principles of Education are to orient the researchers ’attention to real educational problems, nowadays.

- The most prominent proposed research priorities from the faculty members' perspective are: the dimension of (technical principles), followed by the dimension of (economic principles), then the dimension of (philosophical principles), the dimension of (educational principles), the dimension of (moral principles), the dimension of (Cultural principles), and finally the dimension of (Social Principles).
