This study aimed to explore the
requirements for implementing organizational agility to enhance administrative
performance within colleges of education at Saudi universities. It focused on
analysing the components of organizational agility, developing administrative
performance, and identifying the prerequisites for the implementation of these
components. Employing The descriptive survey approach, the research utilized a
survey directed at experts and specialists among faculty members in these
colleges. A questionnaire was distributed to gather their insights, with a
total of 60 experts participating in the survey. The findings indicated that
all components necessary for implementing organizational agility to improve
administrative performance were rated as "high" based on the experts'
opinions. The components were ranked in the following order of importance:
participation, information technology, flexible structures, sensitivity to
change, and organizational agility itself. The study proposed several mechanisms
to facilitate these implementations, including: integrating the college's
strategic plan with initiatives for enhancing information technology and
organizational change; developing a comprehensive technological database;
training college leaders and staff to formulate scenarios that address
opportunities and challenges while fostering a future-oriented vision;
establishing an effective open communication system; conducting periodic
meetings for vision exchange; refining work procedures and job descriptions;
delegating authority among staff; and activating community partnerships through
training and workshops to cultivate innovative projects. Additionally, the
study offered several recommendations aimed at further promoting organizational
agility and administrative performance in higher education settings.
