فاعلية إستراتيجية جيكسو (Jigsaw) على التحصيل الدراسي وبقاء أثر التعلم لدى الطلاب غير الناطقين باللغة العربية

The Effectiveness of Jigsaw Strategy on Learning Achievement and Retention Among Non-Native Arabic-Speaking Students

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فاعلية استخدام إستراتيجية جيكسو في تنمية التحصيل الدراسي وبقاء أثر التعلم لدى طلاب المستوى الرابع بمعهد تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها في الجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة في مقرر التدريبات اللغوية (النحو). حيث استخدم المنهج التجريبي القائم على التصميم شبه التجريبي، وأُعد لذلك اختبار تحصيلي في (4) دروس من دروس التدريبات اللغوية للمستوى الرابع. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (72) طالبًا، اُختيروا بصورة قصدية، ثم تم تقسيمهم عشوائيًا إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية درست باستخدام إستراتيجية جيكسو، ومجموعة ضابطة درست بالطريقة التقليدية. ثم تم قياس التحصيل الدراسي باستخدام اختبار تحصيلي قبلي وبعدي، ومن ثم إعادة الاختبار التحصيلي مرة ثالثة بعد مرور (21) يومًا لقياس بقاء أثر التعلم.

أظهرت النتائج فروقًا ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (? ? 0.05) في الاختبارات التحصيلية البعدية والمؤجلة لصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية ما يؤكد فاعلية استخدام إستراتيجية جيكسو (Jigsaw) في تنمية التحصيل الدراسي وبقاء أثر التعلم لدى طلاب المستوى الرابع في مقرر النحو. بناءً على هذه النتائج، أوصت الدراسة باستخدام إستراتيجية جيكسو في تدريس التدريبات اللغوية والمهارات اللغوية لغير الناطقين بالعربية؛ نظرًا لما ثبت من فاعليتها في تنمية التحصيل الدراسي لديهم، كما أوصت بتأهيل المعلمين وتدريبهم على استخدام إستراتيجية جيكسو في تدريس التدريبات اللغوية لفاعليتها وأثرها تحسن أداء الطلاب في الاختبار التحصيلي.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using the Jigsaw strategy in enhancing learning achievement and retention among fourth-level students at the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers at Islamic University of Madinah in the Linguistic Exercises (Grammar) course. The study employed an experimental methodology based on a quasi-experimental design, for which an achievement test was developed covering four lessons from the Linguistic Exercises curriculum for fourth-level students. The study sample consisted of 72 students, who were purposively selected, and then randomly assigned into two groups: an experimental group, which was taught using the Jigsaw strategy, and a control group, which was taught using traditional methods. Learning achievement was assessed using a pre-test and a post-test, followed by a third administration of the test after 21 days to measure learning retention.

The results revealed statistically significant differences at the ? ? 0.05 level in favor of the experimental group in both the post-test and delayed achievement test. This confirms the effectiveness of the Jigsaw strategy in enhancing learning achievement and retention among fourth-level students in the Grammar course. Based on these findings, the study recommends integrating the Jigsaw strategy in the teaching of linguistic exercises and language skills for non-native Arabic speakers, as its effectiveness in improving academic performance and learning retention has been demonstrated. Additionally, the study emphasizes the need for teacher training and professional development on the implementation of the Jigsaw strategy in teaching linguistic exercises, given its positive impact on students' performance in achievement tests.
