An Environmental Study

مستخلص:

تُعنى هذه الدراسة بمقاربة وصف الحيوان في الشعر الجاهلي، بواسطة معطيات النقد البيئي، وهو مسار نقدي ما زال حديثا في مشاغل الدرس العربي ودراساته، ويتأسس منطقه في تلك المساحة التي يتلاقى فيها الإنسان مع بيئته، وما يتصل بذلك من قضايا واهتمامات.

إن الناظر في مدونة الشعر الجاهلي يجد ذلك الارتباط الكبير بين الإنسان ومكونات بيئته، وقد نطقت تلك القصائد الجاهلية المختلفة بكثير من مشاغل الدرس البيئي الحديث، وهذه دراسة تهدف إلى فحص مدونة وصف الحيوان في الشعر الجاهلي من خلال بعض مقولات الدرس البيئي؛ نحو: فهم ظواهر الانتماء لعوالم الحيوان من خلال استظهار الإحساس بأنواع منها في المدونة الشعرية، والحديث معها، والاستماع لرغباتها وحاجاتها، وكأنها في منزلة الصديق المحاور لصديقه. كما تناولت هذه الدراسة الاستدامة وما يتصل بها من طرق في محافظة الإنسان الجاهلي على حيواناته بمدح صفاتها وأحوالها معجبا بها داعيا للاحتفاظ بها والمفاخرة بأنواع منها، وفي المبحث الأخير فحصت الدراسة سعة المكون العلمي بالحيوانات، وحاولت تعقّب مجموعة من الظواهر السلوكية والإضافات العلمية الخاصة بالحيوان المتناثرة في أبواب الشعر الجاهلي.

Abstract:

This study focuses on animal descriptions in pre-Islamic era poetry through the lens of environmental criticism, a critical approach that is still relatively new in the concerns and studies of Arabic scholarship. Its logic is grounded in the space where humans intersect with their environment and the related issues and concerns.

A reader of pre-Islamic era poetry finds a profound connection between humans and the components of their environment. These various pre-Islamic era poems articulated many of the concerns of modern environmental scholarship. This study aims to examine the corpus of animal descriptions in pre-Islamic era poetry through some environmental scholarship themes. Towards: Understanding the phenomena of belonging to the animal world by evoking a sense of various species in the poetic corpus, conversing with them, and listening to their desires and needs, as if they were in the position of a friend conversing with his friend. This study also addressed sustainability and related methods in pre-Islamic man's preservation of his animals by praising their qualities and conditions, admiring them, calling for their preservation, and boasting about various species. In the final section, the study examined the breadth of the scientific component of animals and attempted to track a group of behavioral phenomena and scientific additions specific to animals scattered throughout the chapters of pre-Islamic era poetry.
