مستخلص البحث
موضوع البحث هو: تجلّيات السِّير ذاتي وهوية النَّصّ في رواية مَفَارِق العَتْمَة لمحمد المزيني (دراسة تحليلية). 
يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة روائية السِّيرة الذاتية عند محمد المزيني؛ لتحديد هوية النّصّ ونوعه الأجناسي بين الأنواع السّردية المختلفة، فالتداخل الأجناسي من القضايا النقدية الشّاقة التي شغلت النقّاد لدى الفصل بين الأنواع؛ إذ تبدأ أزمة النقد حينما يلحظ تناقض بين ما أثبته المؤلِّف من علامة تجنيسية لعمله، وبين عالم النص وإشاراته الداخلية المرجعية.
تطرح روايات محمد المزيني على الباحث سؤالًا ملحًا حول هويتها الأجناسية، خاصة روايته (مَفَارِق العَتْمَة)، التي تشكّل نصًا إشكاليًا حول ماهيتها؛ نظرًا لأنها تعكس وعيًا ذاتيًا متقاطعًا مع الزمان والمكان في إطار لغوي محدَّد، وهذه الانعكاسية هي سبب الإشكالية بين الناقد والمؤلِّف. وسيقف البحث عند رواية (مَفَارِق العَتْمَة)؛ لبحث تجلّيات السِّيرة الذاتية فيها، وتحديد هويتها الأجناسية، ومدى تعالقها مع السِّيرة الذاتية عبر آليات تستند إلى المضمون والميثاق والزمن، فضلًا عن التماهي بين المؤلّف والراوي، بما يعزّز التداخل بينهما؛ بناء على ما أرسته الحداثة من كسر الحدود الفاصلة بين الفنون، وما شهدته السِّيرة الذاتية السعودية من تطوُّر واكب المتغير الحاصل في المشهد الأدبي والنقد، انتقل بالسيرة من التقريرية إلى الفنية، وتصوير التجربة بأبعادها الإنسانية. 
وقد اتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ لكونه المنهج الأكثر مرونة في تحليل الظواهر العلمية المختلفة. 
ويتألَّف البحث من قسمين: قسم نظري يؤصّل لمفهوم السِّيرة الذاتية والروائية، وقسم تطبيقي نبحث فيه عن مظاهر السِّيرة الذاتية في الرواية المدروسة.
وتوصّل البحث إلى نتائج، من أهمها: أن رواية مَفَارِق العَتْمَة سيرة ذاتية مكتملة العناصر، أُفرِغت في قالب روائي.

Abstract
Subject: Manifestations of autobiography and the identity of the text in the novel “Maf?riq Al-?Atma” by Muhammad Al-Mazini (an analytical study).
This research analyzes Muhammed Al-Muzaini's autobiographical novel to define its textual identity and genre within narrative forms. Genre interference creates a critical challenge when the author's genre markers clash with the text's internal elements. The study aims to resolve this ambiguity by examining the novel's characteristics for accurate categorization amidst literary complexities.
Muhammad Al-Muzaini's “Mafariq Al-Atma” poses a challenge in genre classification due to its self-reflexivity within a specific linguistic framework, creating a critic-author dilemma. This research investigates autobiographical elements and the novel's ambiguous genre. It explores its connection to autobiography through content, covenant, and time, alongside author-narrator identification. This analysis considers modern literary trends blurring artistic boundaries and the evolution of Saudi autobiography from reportorial to artistic, depicting human experiences. The study aims to understand the novel's generic ambiguity within the context of contemporary literary and critical developments.
This research employed a descriptive analytical approach, deemed most suitable for examining diverse phenomena. 
The research has two parts: a theoretical section defining autobiography and the novel, and an applied section analyzing autobiographical elements within the studied novel.
The research reached the following results, the most important of which is that the novel "Mafariq al-Atma” is a complete autobiography, presented in a novelistic form.
