ينطلق البحث من سؤال فحواه: ما هي المعايير المنهجية التي اتبعها محمود شاكر في التَّعامل مع تعدد الرواية في النَّص الشعري؟ وما مدى صلاحيتها لتعميمها على دراسة النُّصوص الشعرية متعددة الرواية، ومن سؤالي البحث تشكَّلت أهدافه فكان أبرزها: استخراج المعايير المنهجية للتَّعامل مع اختلاف الرواية في النَّص الشعري عند محمود شاكر، والوقوف على مدى صلاحية تلك المعايير في التَّعامل مع النَّصوص الشعرية متعددة الرواية.
وقد اقتصر البحث على دراسة منهج محمود شاكر في كتابه نمط صعب ونمط مخيف، مستخدما المنهج الاستقرائي في معالجة المادة العلمية، وجاء البحث في مقدمة وتمهيد، وثلاثة مباحث، هي: المبحث الأول: اختلاف الرواية في نسبة القصيدة، المبحث الثاني: اختلاف الرواية في عدد أبيات القصيدة وترتيبها، المبحث الثالث: اختلاف الرواية في ألفاظ القصيدة.
وخرج البحث بنتائج متعددة، أبرزها: أنَّ محمود شاكر قسَّم النَّظر في تعدد الروايات بحسب نوعه إلى أُطر ثلاثة هي ما تشكلت منه مباحث البحث، هي: الأول: الاختلاف في نسبة القصيدة، ومن أسس منهجه في ذلك: حصر الكتب التي روت القصيدة ودراستها ونقدها، والاستئناس بالأحداث التاريخية في نسبة القصيدة، ثم المقارنة بين القصيدة ومجموع شعر الشاعر معتمدا في ذلك على التذوق، الثاني: الاختلاف في عدد أبيات القصيدة وترتيبها، ومن أسسه المنهجية في ذلك: حصر الكتب التي روت القصيدة كاملة أو جزءا منها، ثم معرفة مناهج المؤلفين، ثم تحديد بناء القصيدة، ودراسة الأحداث داخلها، وتناسب الرواية مع حركة النَّغم في القصيدة، الثالث: اختلاف الرواية في ألفاظ القصيدة، فكان المعاير الأهم هنا خدمة الرواية لمعنى البيت والقصيدة، مع النظر إلى سند الرواية ومناسبة اللفظة لحركة التغني.

Abstract
The research questions are: What are the methodological criteria followed by Mahmoud Shakir in dealing with the multiplicity of the narration in the poetic text? What is the extent of its validity to be generalized to the study of poetic texts with multiple narration? From the research questions, its objectives were formed, the most prominent of which are: extracting methodological criteria for dealing with the diverse narration in the poetic text by Mahmoud Shakir, and to assess the extent to which these criteria are applicable to poetic texts with multiple narrative versions.
The research studied Mahmoud Shakir's approach in the book: “Nama?un ?a’bun wa Nama?un Mukh?f”, using the inductive approach, consisting of: an introduction, a preface, and three topics, namely: The diverse narration on the origin of the poem, the diverse narration on the number of verses of the poem and its arrangement, and the diverse narration on the wordings of the poem.
The most significant findings: Mahmoud Shakir divided the types of multiplicity of narrations into three frameworks. The foundations of his approach in the first topic include: compiling the books that narrated the poem, studying them critically, and relying on the historical events in the ascription of the poem, then the comparison between the poem and the total poetry of the poet by aesthetics. The second included: Listing the books that narrated the poem in fully or partially. While the third included: The chain of the narration and its verbal suitability for the movement of rhythm.
