Connotations of Place in the Poetry of Yasirr Al-Atrash a Critical Study

ملخص:

يدرس بحث (دلالات المكان في شعر ياسر الأطرش) معاني المكان الظاهرة في شعر الشاعر، لأن المكان مهم في بناء النص الشعري أولا، وفي تكوين المبدع النفسي، وقد اعتمدت المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحقيق أهداف البحث، وجاءت خطة البحث في أربعة مباحث هي: المكان الوطن، والمكان المنفى، والمكان الواسع والضيق، والمكان الخيالي، وتعود أهمية الموضوع لبروز المكان في كثير من قصائد الشاعر وتنوع الأمكنة واندماج المكان بمشاعر الغربة، فكان المكان رمزا للحزن والبكاء والضياع. ويُعد المكان في شعر الشاعر ركيزة مهمة، وركنا لا يمكن الاستغناء عنه في بناء الصورة الشعرية، والمعنى العام لنتاجه الشعرية. وبهذا يكون الشاعر "ياسر الأطرش" قد عبّر عن معاناة شعب كامل، وأظهر وفاءه وعشقه لوطنه، ومن سكن واستقر فيه، وقد خلّد هذه المأساة في نتاجه الشعري.

? Abstract

The research (Connotation of Place in the Poetry of Yasirr al-Atrash) studies the apparent meanings of place in the poet’s work, as place plays a crucial role in both the construction of the poetic text and the poet’s psychological identity. Adopting a descriptive-analytical approach to achieve its objectives, the research is divided into four main sections: homeland as a place, place of exile, expansive and Constricted Spaces, and Imaginary Place. 

The importance of this topic lies in the prominent presence of place in many of the poet’s works, the diversity of settings, and the fusion of place with feelings of alienation. In his poetry, place becomes a symbol of sorrow, weeping, and loss. It stands as a crucial pillar and an indispensable element in shaping poetic imagery and the overall meaning of his literary output. Thus, the poet Yasirr al-Atrash expressed the suffering of an entire people, demonstrated his loyalty and deep love for his homeland, and for those who lived and settled in it. Through his poetry he has immortalized this tragedy in his poetic work.
