The Dialectic Death and Life in Ghazi Alqusaibi's Poetry

الملخص:

يحاول هذا البحث الكشف عن حضور جدلية الموت والحياة في شعر القصيبي وأنماطها ومعالجته إياها، وتنبع أهميته من كونها الثنائية الأبرز في شعره والأكثر حضوراً، ورغم ذلك فلم يسبق أن خصت بدراسة مستقلة. وقد انقسم هذا البحث بعد المقدمة إلى تمهيد وأربعة مطالب، تناول أولها تمازج وتداخل ثنائية الموت والحياة في شعر القصيبي، وتناول الثاني مركزية الأنا في تناول القصيبي هذه الثنائية، وتناول الثالث حضور المكان في تناول القصيبي هذه الثنائية ووعي القصيبي به، وتناول الثالث كون الزمان عنصراً أساساً في تناول القصيبي هذه الثنائية ووعيه به وبأثره فيها.

وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج، من أهمها: أن القصيبي في تناوله هذه الجدلية انطلق من أسباب خاصة به، وأن جدلية الموت والحياة تجلت عنده في أربعة أنماط تشكل منها صلب البحث، وأن القصيبي في معالجته هذه الجدلية تعامل مع الموت تعاملاً خاصاً فلم يسع للهروب منه، بل حاول جاهداً كسر حاجز الخوف منه، وأظهره على نحو مثل في رؤيته خلاصاً، ورسم له صورة تغاير الصورة المعتادة للموت، وغير ذلك من النتائج المبثوثة في ثنايا البحث، والممثل أهمها في الخاتمة.

Abstract

This research paper explores the dialectic of death and life in Alqusaibi's poetry, its patterns, and treatment. It is the most striking feature of his poetry, which has yet to be singled out for in-depth, focused study. This paper comprises, besides an introduction and preliminary, four sections. The first section undertakes the mixing and overlapping of the duality of death and life in Alqusaibi's poetry. The second is devoted to the egocentrism in this duality. The third is about the presence of place in the duality and Alqusaibi's awareness of it. The fourth focuses on time as an essential component in Alqusaibi's duality and his awareness of it and its effect on duality. Findings show that Alqusaibi approached this dialectic for personal reasons and formulated four patterns for life and death. These patterns form the core of this study. In his argument, Alqusaibi dealt with death as an inescapable fact, trying to overcome the fear of it, portraying it as salvation— different from the usual imagery of death. Other underlying results are represented in the conclusion.
