Evoking Heritage Characters in Abdullah Al-Washmi’s Poetry Collection "Waiting To"

تهدف هذه الدّراسة إلى تناول ظاهرة توظيف التّراث في ديوان الشّاعر عبدالله الوشميّ الموسوم بـ "يُنْتَظَرُ أنْ." وقد اشتملت الدّراسة على مبحثين، الأوّل: بعنوان "علاقة الشّاعر العربيّ بالتّراث". والثّاني: بعنوان "الشّخصيّات التّراثيّة، ودورها في تجربة الشّاعر عبدالله الوشميّ في ديوانه "يُنْتَظَرُ أَنْ." وقسّمت هذه الشّخصيّات إلى: شخصيّات دينيّة (الرّسل، والأنبياء)، وشخصيّات أدبيّة (شعراء)، وشخصيّات أسطوريّة (شهرزاد). سبقتهما مقدّمة أشارت إلى هدف الدّراسة، ومنهجها، وحدودها، والدّراسات السّابقة، وخطّة الدّراسة. ثمّ جاءت الخاتمة الّتي أبرزت أهمّ النّتائج الّتي توصّلت إليها الدّراسة. وأخيراً قائمة المصادر والمراجع الّتي أفادت منها.

Abstract

The study aims at addressing the phenomenon of heritage employment in Al-Washmi’s collection of poetry entitled: “Waiting To”. The study is divided into two sections: "The relationship of the Arab poet to heritage" and “traditional characters and their role in the experience of Al-Washmi in his collection, “Waiting To.” The characters are divided into religious characters (messengers and prophets), literary characters (poets), and mythical characters (Scheherazade). Prior to that, an introduction comes to indicate the goals of the study, its approach, its limitations, previous studies, and the study plan. Finally, the conclusion wraps up the most important findings of the study, followed by a list of references and works cited in the study.
