The Aesthetics of Place in the Poetry of Tarafa Ibn Al-‘Abd

المستخلص

يُعد تشكيل المكان من العناصر المهمة في النصوص الأدبية، والشعر العربي القديم شعر مكاني؛ ارتبط بالبيئة التي أنتجته، وبالإنسان الذي أبدعه، ومن هنا لا يمكن النظر إلى المكان على أنه بُعد جغرافي، أو شكل هندسي؛ فعندما يتدخل الخيال في تشكيله؛ يحمِّله بحمولات نفسية، ورؤى فكرية؛ من خلال تعبير الشاعر عن قضاياه الاجتماعية والنفسية؛ لما لهذا المكان من علاقة حميمة بالإنسان، وهذا يجعل المكان يفارق دلالته الجغرافية؛ ليعبر عن دلالة جمالية.

وطرفة بن العبد من هؤلاء الشعراء الذين اهتموا بالمكان في عالمهم الشعري؛ حتى أضحى سمة أسلوبية في إبداعه؛ فقد أسهم المكان في نقل طرفة لثنائية الموت والحياة في المبحث الأول؛ وظل هاجس الموت الذي يلاحق الشاعر متلبسًا بعنصر المكان.

وفي المبحث الثاني: المكان وجدلية الأنا والآخر؛ كان المكان الجامع بين الذات الشاعرة والآخر من خلال علاقة الائتلاف أو الاختلاف؛ فظهرت علاقة الائتلاف مع القبيلة ومع الأشخاص الذين يحلّون ضيوفًا على القبيلة يطلبون القِرى والطعام، وتجلت علاقة الاختلاف مع قاتليه، الملك عمرو بن هند وأخيه قابوس.

وكان للمكان أثره في تشكيل الصورة الشعرية بكل أنواعها في المبحث الثالث، وقد تحولت الصُّور إلى لوحات فنية ذات عمق دلالي، وإيحاء فني؛ تثير المشاعر، وتحدث مشاركة وجدانية بين الشاعر والمتلقي.

Abstract

The formation of place is an important component of literary texts. Ancient Arabic poetry is a poetry of place, associated with the environment that produced it, and with the person who invented it. Hence, a place cannot be viewed from a mere geographical dimension, or a geometric shape. When imagination interferes with its formation; it fills it with psychological loads and intellectual visions; through the poet’s expression of his social and psychological issues. Due to the place having an intimate relationship with humans, this makes the place distinct from its geographical significance; to express an aesthetic connotation.

Tarafa Ibn Al-Abd is one of those poets who paid attention to the place in their poetic world, until it became a stylistic feature in his creativity. The place contributed to the shifting of Tarafa to the duality of death and life in the first topic; and the obsession with death that haunted the poet remained intertwined with the element of place.

In the second topic: there is place and the dialectic of ego and the other. It was the inclusive place between the poetical self and the other, through a relationship coalition or difference. Hence, the relationship of the coalition with the tribe and with the people who were guests of the tribe seeking hospitality and food became manifest, and the relationship of difference with its killers, King Amr bin Hind and his brother Qaboos. 

The place had its effect on shaping the poetic image of all kinds in the third topic, the images turned into artistic paintings of semantic depth and artistic suggestion which stirs up feelings, and that instigates an emotional partnership between the poet and the recipient.
