Socio-Cultural Study in Tabaq?t Ash-Shu‘ar? of Ibn Al-Mu‘taz

المستخلص

تتميز كتب التراجم الأدبية بمعلومات غزيرة عن الشعراء تصف حياتهم الشخصية، وأساليب معيشتهم، ومجتمعهم الأدبي، وطريقتهم في تطوير صناعة الشعر، ويرى البحث أنّ هذه البيانات تسهم في كشف اهتمام الشعراء بصنع استحقاق أدبي يضعهم في المكانة اللائقة بهم داخل عصرهم أو بعده.

وقد عالج البحث هذه الفكرة من خلال النصوص التي جمعت من كتاب طبقات الشعراء المتكلمين على أربعة محاور تحدّث الأول منها عن صناعة المكانة الاجتماعية للشاعر، ووضّح الثاني طرق صناعة الذاكرة الشعرية، وبيّن الثالث سبل صناعة المنزلة الفنيّة، وكشف الرابع عن صناعة الصورة الشخصية.

وكان المنهج المعتمد في معالجة واستنطاق النصوص والأخبار المنهج الثقافي والمنهج الاجتماعي، واقتضت طبيعة البحث أنْ ينقسم إلى: مقدّمة، وأربعة مباحث: عنوان الأول منها صناعة المكانة الاجتماعية، والمبحث الثاني صناعة الذاكرة الشعرية، والمبحث الثالث صناعة المكانة الفنية، والمبحث الرابع صناعة الصورة الشخصية.

وانتهى البحث إلى أنّ كتب التراجم الأدبية تضم كثيرًا من الرؤى النقدية التي تحتاج إلى تأمّل عميق، وأنّ لدى الشعراء وعيًا بأهمية صناعة الاستحقاق الأدبي وإنْ لم يتحدثوا عنه بوضوح كما أنّ ابن المعتز رصد هذا الوعي عند الشعراء في كتابه من خلال استعمال فنّ الترجمة الأدبية.

Abstract

Books of literary biography are characterized by abundant information about poets describing their personal lives, their ways of life, their literary society, and their way of developing the art of poetry. The research finds that these information contribute to revealing poets' interest in creating a literary merit that places them in a worthy position within or after their era.

The research dealt with this idea through the texts collected from the book on ranks of rationalists' poets under four issues. The first discusses the making of the poet’s social status. The second explains the methods of creating poetic memory. The third shows ways of creating an artistic status. The fourth reveals about the making of the personal image.

The methodology adopted in addressing and interrogating the texts and the stories is the cultural methodology and the social methodology. The nature of the research necessitated that it be divided into: An introduction and four topics: the first of which is the making of social status, the second topic is the making of poetic memory, the third topic is the making of artistic status, and the fourth topic is the making of the personal image.

The research concluded that the books of literary biographies contain many critical visions that need deep contemplation, and that poets have awareness of the importance of creating literary merit even if they do not speak about it clearly. Ibn Al-Mu'taz also monitored this awareness of poets in his book through the use of the art of literary biography.
